Sublimation printing process
Prepare and print the design in mirror image on sublimation paper using sublimation ink.
Attach the printed design securely to the sublimation blank with heat-resistant tape. Place the item into the heating element and adjust the pressure so that the heating surface makes even contact with the product.
Set the appropriate temperature and time according to the blank and consumables being used, then complete the heating cycle. Carefully remove the hot product using heat-resistant gloves and allow it to cool.
Exact temperature, time, and pressure settings may vary depending on the product, coating, sublimation paper, ink, heating element, and other production conditions.
Heating elements
Additional compatible heating elements are available separately at extra cost, allowing the press to be used with a wider range of cylindrical products.
Before dispatch, each press is checked and tested and is calibrated for sublimation printing at approximately 180°C / 356°F.
